When you choose the California Virtual Eating Disorder Experts (CVED Experts) Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at Joyful Marriage & Family Therapy Group, I have the unique ability to work with you both during treatment and after you graduate—because I am the Director of Nutrition.

In most cases, yes! However, clients must purchase a MyClearstep scale (numberless scale) or BlindWeight Scale to ensure effective monitoring. Ask me for a promo code and access code! 

Yes!  I work with children, teens, and adults.

I only see clients while they are in treatment if it is recommended by their current treatment team. In the case that it is recommended, I coordinate weekly with the clients PHP/IOP  treatment team. 

It depends! For some clients it is effective to use recovery record, for others it's more effective to do a 24-hour recall in session. However, prior to the initial assessment, all clients are required to complete a 3 day food log. 

• Upon signing a Release of Information, I coordinate care with clients therapist, physician(s), coaches,  etc.
• For clients who are <18 years old or per client request, I will be in touch with their guardian/parent/ support person weekly to provide updates and to discuss progress.

Yes!  Whether you are needing support in healing from an eating disorder, trying to stabilize disordered (hectic) eating patterns, or just looking for help to identify what nutrition advise to 'listen to,' I can help.  

Not at this time. However, I do provide super bills.  A superbill is a "health care receipt." You can work with your insurance to get reimbursed for the services provided. 

All payments are completed through Simple Practice via credit/debit card.
